Disneyland!!!

We spent Thanksgiving week in Anaheim, CA with my whole family.  We rented a house walking distance to Disneyland and had an amazing time!!  2 days at Disneyland - and believe it or not - no melt downs between all 4 kids!!!  The house had a pool, so the older kids got to do some swimming.  And of course we had a great Thanksgiving meal there too.  The look on Ella's face meeting the princesses and seeing the castle and all the disney magic was just priceless.

I teared up as I first walked down mainstreet.  It brought back such great memories and I was thrilled that I got to share them with my daughters!
Ella was "shell shocked" meeting the princesses.  By the time she got to Snow White, she couldn't speak! :-)

Today we celebrated Reese's birthday.  We did celebrate at home Thursday as a family, but today she had all her baby friends for a party.  Thanks so much to Ali and Marissa who hosted for us since our kitchen is under construction.  We had such a great time and thank you to everyone who was able to come!

Play time for Reese

Just a little video of Reese playing by herself!

Halloween 2011

We had so much fun parading our little princess and fairy around with us this Halloween.  Ella was Snow White, and when she kept her headband on, she really looked the part!  Reese made a perfect little Tinkerbell!  Ella seemed a little bummed that Reese couldn't fly though.  We went to a festival at our church on Saturday and then on Halloween we trick or treated on our block with Ella's friend James (played the role of a Husky football player) from 2 doors down and her new friend Jackson from down the street.

Fall in Seattle

Someone help me!
My favorite place to take pictures in Seattle is at Greenlake when the leaves have started turning and falling.  We were a little early, but last week there was a beautiful sunny day so we had to take advantage.  Trying to get 1 child to pose for nice pictures is one thing.  Trying to get 2 is a whole different ball game.  I was the crazy Mom in the park yelling "Reese smile" about a thousand times and "Ella, too close to the lake".  Yup, that was me ruining people's peaceful walks.  Oh well, we got some good ones!

Reese takes her first steps!

Reese has started walking while holding onto a car.  She did it at U Village yesterday, and then at home last night.  She seems so proud of herself.  This video is so funny though, because when she hits the hard wood, man, she loses control!

Play Time with Papa and Tutu

I had a meeting at church last weekend so Daddy, Papa, and Tutu took the kids to the park.  Here are some pics from their adventures.

Reese is Standing!

We are so excited that Reese is finally standing.  I know everyone right now is saying, she's right on track, she's not late to be standing.  Yeah, well, considering all the current events, I'm very pleased.
Hey Watch me throw this on the floor! Take that Ella.

Ella is reading

Okay, not quite, but still pretty cute!

Budding Musician...or Bam Bam

Damon likes to call Reese Bam Bam because she is not the most gentle of babies.  She starts nice and gentle here, but by the end, is Bam Bam.

Peekaboo

I can still remember the 1st time we saw Ella play Where's Ella.  We were camping in September of 2009.  So, when Reese started playing, we were equally as thrilled.  She gets so excited, it melts my heart!

Ella's got the camera

I didn't realize until later that Ella was taking a video when she walked into the room.  But this is too cute.  Notice it ends with me starting to lecture her.  Ha Ha.  Had I known she was a budding videographer, I would have let her continue!

Finger Food

Okay, this one isn't very "exciting".  But is there anything cuter than a baby learning how to eat?

Preschool

Ella began attending preschool 1 day a week at the Little Feats Preschool at Philadelphia Church. Damon and I got to meet her teachers and see her classroom at an Open House and then she started on September 7. So far so good. Today, she brought home a little apple craft she made and we all sang the apple song.

3 Generations

Too bad Greg couldn't be there, but we had 3 generations of Morris folk together a few weeks ago. The girls and I took the ferry to Bremerton and drove to Damon's Grandma Bette and Grandpa Orville's house in Allyn, WA. Damon works out there, so he met us there after work. We had a great dinner, and the kids loved playing in the backyard.

1st Boo Boo

Well, Reese got her first boo boo. Yikes. Next time maybe we shouldn't let her try to go down the back step onto the deck. Poor Reesey. But, she is tough like her sister, hardly any tears!

Music Time

Ella and I has some music time while Reese was sleeping today. She sang one of her favorite calming songs, Listen to the Horses, by Raffi. Then we rocked out to the Rizers!

Beach Time

We had a great time a week ago at the beach at Madison Park. Ella played with dead fish (eeew), and dug in the sand a lot. Reese didn't touch the sand, but like looking at it! And playing with her friend Andrew.

Busy Busy

We've been super busy this last month. Lots of playdates, trips to the park, and other fun adventures now that it's finally warm. Everyday that the sun is out Ella exclaims, "The sun is out, time to go to the park!" Ella is loving Reese more and more as Reese gets more playful.

Enjoy some pics from our month.

Dinnertime Dancing

We discovered at dinner last week, that Reese likes to dance and will do so on command. This video doesn't show it, but whenever we started singing the Reesey dancing song, she would start dancing again. However, it created quite the jealousy in Ella that the camera wasn't pointed at her. Sigh...the rivalry begins.

Happy Easter...now lets eat candy.

We had to cut her off...but boy does she love easter.

Reese's 1st Feeding

Reese has done great over the past 2 days with her 1st 2 feedings. It took a couple bites to get figure out how to swallow. But once she got the hang of it, she loved it. Who knew rice cereal could make a baby so happy!

Hey...I'm here too! My name is Reese

We're having a blast getting to know daughter #2. She is our sweet, quiet one so far. Such a love!

Ella's got a new trick

Ella is such a dare devil. Usually Damon teaches her all the adventurous things. Tonight she made up her own though. She was sitting on the couch, and all of a sudden...back rounds. PRetty cool, she even came up with the name. :-)

Ella's Packing

One of Ella's favorite activities is to put all her little toys into little shopping bags and carry them around. Here is one of her better ones.

Ella and Reese

Ella and Reese have had a fun month together. It's been a month of trying to learn the balancing act of 2 children, but all in all a ton of fun. Each one is so sweet and so cute. And together they are perfection! Well, to me they are!

Ella can read.

Okay, not really, but she has memorized many of her books. This is "Big Little" a new book she got for her birthday. I think it's really cute the way she "reads" the last 2 pages which have a bunch of big and little things on them...

Baby Talk

Reese is under attack!

We had a blast when Ella and Reese's cousins Evan and Katelyn came to visit. Katelyn was born in July and had a blast exploring our house and toys...and Reese. She was very interested in Reese's ear, and looked like she might teeth on it a little!

Tummy Time

Need I say more...she's adorable. Look at that neck working!
